This place is famous as the main "fishing hub" on the highway. Locals sell their own products and gifts from the region.:
Fish: Dried, smoked (hot and cold smoked) and salted fish from the Bukhtarma reservoir. The most popular positions are bream, walleye, perch and pike.
Honey and bee products: Since the area is rich in apiaries, you can always find fresh East Kazakhstan honey here.
Seasonal gifts: Depending on the season, wild berries (strawberries, raspberries), mushrooms, pine nuts and homemade vegetables/fruits are sold.
