In the museum of Islamic Culture in East Kazakhstan, mosque attendants act guides. Visitors can learn about the development of Tengrianism and Islam from ancient times to the present. Special attention is paid to the models of famous mosques, including the Kaaba and Khoja Ahmed Yassawi, as well as the model of the medieval Turgesh city of Atlah, famous for the victory of Arab-Turkic troops in the battle with the Tang Empire.
The Museum of Islamic Culture in Oskemen contains rare books, including the original "Divani Hikmet" Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and publications on the history of Turks from Cambridge and Turkey. All books are digitized and available electronically. The exhibition also includes personal belongings of the scientist Khalifa Altai and items related to the participant of the cleaning ceremony of the holy Kaaba Murat Telebayev.
The interactive panel allows you to read and listen to the Quran in four languages. The collection contains artifacts, including stone balbals and runic inscriptions. The museum is actively replenished by local residents who bring ancient valuables and items of Kazakh national clothing.
