Baiterek is a copy of one of the main symbols of Kazakhstan. Its construction is dedicated to several significant dates at once: the Day of the Capital, the 290th anniversary of Ust-Kamenogorsk and the anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The height of Baiterek is 28.5 m.
