To the 20th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ust-Kamenogorsk on the Irtysh Embankment is a monument to Yefim Pavlovich Slavsky, thrice Hero of Socialist Labor. Sculptors Khamitbi Kulchaev (Ust-Kamenogorsk) and Alexander Lyagin (Moscow). Architect of the project Stanislav Khristoforov. The monument was opened on August 25, 2011.
