Monument in memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union,the first Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan, holder of the title "Halyk Kaharmany" Sagadat Nurmagambetov. The monument is a composition consisting of a pedestal and a bronze sculpture with a metal frame mounted on it. The height is 3.6 meters. It is located in the center of the recreation park of the same name in the 19th microdistrict of Oskemen. The authors of the project are famous sculptors Nurbol Kaliev and Sarsen Seitov.
It opened in 2022.
