A small hill of regular geometric shape - hemisphere, covered with cedar-spruce forest. A swamp runs around the "cap", which especially emphasizes the "Monomakh Cap" as a separate object of nature. This is one of the relict areas of the forest, which was not affected by fires and other natural disasters that changed the vegetation of all the surrounding areas of the Lineyskiy Ridge. It can be observed both from the public road and from the route "Zapovednye Daly". The "Monomakh's Cap" received its name for its external resemblance to the royal headdress.
