The shores of Lake Ayir are flat, marshy and overgrown with reeds. Clay soil does not let water through, which does not dry out in the lowlands for a very long time. Typically, there are a great many parallel depressions around the lake. Venturing to choose the ones that are closer to the lake, you can find yourself in a swampy place that only all-terrain vehicles can get through. Lake Ayir is famous for its fishing, both in summer and in winter.
