Blog Tour in East Kazakhstan: New Horizons for Tourism

From August 12 to 16, a blog tour for popular travel bloggers took place in East Kazakhstan. Over five days, the participants visited the region’s most iconic attractions: the museum in Besterek village, the Sibin Lakes, the Bukhtarma Reservoir, Bronze Age petroglyphs, the Kiin Kerish tract, Lake Markakol and the Markakol Nature Reserve. The route also included the Old Austrian Road, the Burkhat Pass, the open-air museum “Berel,” Lake Yazovoe, and the Yazovoy Waterfall.

The program was enriched with active experiences such as rafting on the Bukhtarma River and visiting a pantotherapy health center in the Altai district.

Bloggers actively shared their impressions on social media through posts and videos, drawing attention to the tourism potential of East Kazakhstan. Such events play an important role in promoting the region, building a positive image, and stimulating growing interest among both domestic and international tourists.
