On the left bank of the Uba River in Shemonaikha, the UBA Open Fest took place, dedicated to Youth Day. The festival brought together a concert program, creative zones, a gastronomic competition, interactive activities for spectators, a White Party, and a foam party.
Throughout the day, local performers and creative groups performed on stage. Between the concert acts, festival guests took part in contests and games: guessing tunes, competing in musical memory, dancing, and completing tasks set by the hosts. Separate entertainment was also organized for the youngest participants of the celebration.
One of the festival platforms was an open-air art gallery where residents and guests of the district could discover the creative works of participants. At the end of the festival, the best exhibition was also recognized.
Special attention was drawn to the SHEMONAIKHA OPEN KITCHEN gastronomic contest. Its participants competed in preparing pilaf and shashlik. The jury evaluated the cooking quality, taste, presentation, and originality of the dishes.
Based on the competition results, the winner in the "Best Shashlik" category was the "Veterok" team, led by Moldir Kumyrbekkyzy Kyzyrova. The "Ogonyok" team, represented by Parviz Dadadzhanov, won in the "Best Pilaf" category.
Awards to the winners of the culinary contest, as well as to the authors and participants of the best exhibition, were presented by the Deputy Akim of the Shemonaikha District, Daniyar Zhunusov.
Throughout the entire festival, a contest for the most unusual Youth Day photo was also held. Participants were invited to take a vivid shot on the grounds of UBA Open Fest and share it on social media. The winner was determined during the finale of the event.
The program concluded with one of the most anticipated parts of the festival — the White Party and the foam party. White outfits, music, dancing, and clouds of foam turned the bank of the Uba into a large summer open-air dance floor.
By tradition, UBA Open Fest on the banks of the Uba became a place where district residents could gather, spend time together, and celebrate Youth Day in a bright and summery way.
