East Kazakhstan continues to develop infrastructure for comfortable and eco-friendly recreation. In the near future, systematic improvement of three large-scale natural locations will begin in the region, and the route to popular tourist destinations will become much more convenient.
Transport accessibility is one of the main priorities in tourism development. According to the Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Nurymbet Saktaganov, the repair of key tourist highways is expected to be completed this year. In particular, the quality of the road surface heading to Rakhmanovsky Klyuchi, Ridder, and Shemonaikha will improve. Also planned for this year is the completion of the long-awaited bypass of the Osinovsky Pass, which will make trips along this picturesque route safer and faster.
The implementation of projects to create modern ecoparks will begin in Oskemen, Ulan, and Glubokoe districts. These will be conceptual recreation areas with walking routes, developed basic infrastructure, and an emphasis on preserving the natural environment. The total cost of implementing the projects is estimated at 450 million tenge.
Today, the region places a systematic emphasis on the comprehensive development of territories. The main goal is to create a unified, eco-friendly, and comfortable environment that will become a harmonious part of the lives of East Kazakhstan residents and a calling card of the region for its guests.
