The Zaisan Hunting Farm is located on the Kazakh part of the Saur Ridge in the Zaisan District of Eastern Kazakhstan. South of the ancient Lake Zaisan, on the border with China. Since 2013, the hunting grounds are managed by the peasant farm "Aika" Ahmetsalimkyzy Aelita. The mountain slopes are not convenient for economic activities. This fact has allowed the wildlife of the Saur to remain in its pristine form. The Saur unites many natural zones. Representatives of steppe, forest and mountain fauna coexist here. A special pride of the farm is the constantly growing population of the maral, a large subspecies of red deer. The horns of this beauty are already decorating the collections of many trophy hunters.
