One of the most picturesque is Lake Shabyndykol (Verkhnie Tainty), located 90 km from Ust-Kamenogorsk at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level. The length of the lake is one km, width - from 400 to 600 m, depth - up to 7 m. The shores of the reservoir are covered with birch groves. In the summer evening you can clearly see the bright sunset combing the green waves with its golden comb. A fisherman sits motionless near the reeds. Catch is over, but he is not attracted to go home, he forgot that he has to hurry somewhere... Rest bases, located on the lake Verhnie Tainty and on the artificial Tainty reservoir (Nizhnie Tainty), give everything for a good rest. Both in summer and in winter. But most importantly, there is peace and quiet, which is great for families with children. On the shores of the lake you can pick strawberries, mushrooms and medicinal herbs. And how you can breathe here! The air is filled with the aroma of pine, thyme and wormwood.
