A new unique exhibit, the Great Silk Road, was opened in the Left Bank Museum and Reserve Complex.

In the left bank complex they recreated the trade route, which connected the East and the West. In the original it was the world's first transcontinental route, which exceeded 7 thousand kilometers. The system of caravan roads of antiquity and the Middle Ages was primarily used for exporting silk from China. The way, laid in the 2nd century B.C. from Xi'an, lasted more than 15 centuries.

Ust-Kamenogorsk museum complex has several palaces - the Indian palace of the raja, the medieval palace of the emir and the ancient sailing ship "Caravelle". The Chinese emperor's palace and the Kazakh khan's palace are being completed. Along the way of this grandiose trade route recreated here, a large stone labyrinth has also been built.

Visitors are invited to take a journey along the Great Silk Road from China, when the Chinese ambassador Zhang Qian visited the countries of Central Asia.
