Arrival of the group to the beginning of the route. Registration of visitors at the national park checkpoint. After registration, the group moves along the mountain serpentine Irek (Austrian road) to the observation platform equipped by the national park staff. Here visitors of the national park can stop and make excellent photos of the Bukhtarma river valley. Then the group goes to the Burkhat Pass, the highest point of the route (2141 m), where in clear weather we can see the two-headed queen of Altai - Belukha Mountain. After the Burkhat Pass the group goes down to the Karakoba Valley where they stay in the guesthouse of the national park (a group of no more than six people) or in a tent camp. The group moves along the Karakoba river valley to Kensu tract. On the way to the tract tourists come out to a small mountain lake where fishing lovers can try their luck and catch grayling. The valley is surrounded on both sides by mountains overgrown with coniferous forests. Along the route there are many rare species of medicinal herbs (radiola rosea, maral and red root, etc.), which are included in the Red Book. On the route you can meet such representatives of fauna as red deer, roe deer, bear. In the mountains there are colonies of marmots.
In the Kensu tract visitors stop for lunch on the banks of the turbulent Karakaba River. Here you can catch grayling, an inhabitant of the mountain river, and admire the pristine nature.
After lunch the group goes to the river crossing, after which they continue to the small mountain lake Shagandaba.
The group stops at an equipped tent camp. Dinner. Overnight.
