The name "Tainty" contains the designation of several objects at once. It is both the name of the area and the name of a fairly large village.
This is a picturesque place is located 90 km from Ust-Kamenogorsk, near the village of Tainty in the Ulan District. In order to get to the lake, you need to drive along the Samara highway to the village of Verkhniye Tainty. Follow the sign to the village and go to the power poles that will lead directly to the lake.
The average length of the lake is 1648 m, width - 550 m, depth - 6.7 m. Lake Shybyndykol is bordered by quite high mountains, which are covered with lush evergreen coniferous vegetation of the Shybyndinsk forest. On the slopes there are many shrubby trees (mountain ash, bird cherry, maralnik). The water in the lake is very clear, transparent, the bottom is sandy. A water protection zone has been established here. On a hot summer day, swimming in the cool, clear water is a pleasure. Shybyndykol will be a comfortable resort for families with children. In addition, you can also go fishing here. The lake is home to grass carp, crucian carp, perch, and roach. By the way, this area is considered to be the most mushroom place in the region. Some tourist companies even organize so-called mushroom auto tours. On the shore of the lake there is a working cottage recreation center "Malahit". And if you prefer to stay in tents, you can drive to the wild beach (to get to the beach, you need to turn right before reaching the recreation center "Malahit"). This place is worth devoting at least a couple of days of your vacation.
